Turnkey expertise further extends KnitMesh Technologies’ product offering

By demonstrating its ability to offer customers a full turnkey service, KnitMesh Technologies has secured a multi-million part contract for the supply of automotive EGR (Exhaust Gas Recirculation) components. Each component will comprise a wire mesh ring with an associated clip fastening.

The wire mesh rings will be manufactured by KnitMesh Technologies, the specialist knitted wire design, development and manufacturing company, while the clip fastenings will be produced by a partner organisation. After being assembled into a single component, the completed parts will then be shipped to Germany for use by a leading vehicle exhaust gas management specialist. This contract follows on from recent successes in concrete supplying assemblies of knitted mesh and other components.
