Manufacturing & Processing

Knitmesh Technologies are the acknowledged technical leaders in the design and manufacture of innovative mesh solutions for an extensive range of industrial applications and environmental conditions.

Since 1957 we have worked closely with customers from a bewildering array of sectors to solve some of industry's most challanging manufacturing problems using industrial knitted products.

Wire Knitting

Producing consistent knitted mesh to our exactingly high standards requires a level of technical expertise and experience gained in over 50 years of manufacturing and processing knitted wire mesh. Wire knitting requires not only the correct machines, cylinder heads, needles and spools, but specific material science knowledge and experience to ensure product performance and quality.

Some of the methods and techniques involved in knitting wire are outlined in the following pages:

Mesh Processing

Once a wire mesh has been knit, it is rare for it to be despatched without the application of a post-knitting procedure to manipulate the mesh into the form the customer requires.

Some of the methods and techniques involved in post-knit processing are outlined in the following pages:

Non-Mesh Products

KnitMesh Technologies are the acknowledged technical leaders in the design and manufacture of innovative knitted wire mesh solutions.

Perhaps less well known is we have also been designing and manufacturing assembly and subassembly devices which incorporate knitted mesh.

How this can aid the customer in their design and assembly operations is outlined in the following pages:
