Circa £21,500 pa ( depending on experience )
This is an exciting 2 year opportunity (with a strong possibility of ongoing employment) to work with KnitMesh Technologies Ltd (www.knitmeshtechnologies.com) located near Chester. KnitMesh Technologies is an acknowledged technical leader in the design and manufacture of innovative mesh solutions for an extensive range of industrial applications and environmental conditions. The applications covered include automotive, aerospace, security and many engineering applications. The duties include sealing, vibration absorption, sound attenuation, sensitive component protection and filtering. The project aims to develop and embed an improved company capability to design and manufacture knitted mesh products to target end properties, using a fundamental engineering approach. You should hold a 1st or 2:1 degree in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering, ideally with an interest in computer modelling techniques.
The KTP scheme provides funding of up to £3,500 towards professional development. It is anticipated that the Associate will pursue an opportunity to gain an MPhil. The Associate can also achieve an NVQ Level 4 in management as well as a wealth of industrial design experience.
